In 2021, it was approved to be a construction unit of master's degree awarding project in Guangdong Province and a new unit for doctoral workstation in Guangdong Province. In 2020, it was listed in the list of "Top 15 Universities in Guangzhou Technology Market", and in 2022, it was ranked among the top 30 “Private General Undergraduate Institutions in China” and the top 2 in Guangdong Province.
